Rooted in Nashik · At home in every city

Since 2014 · Nashik & everywhere

The Spirits.

Creative Spirits is two people before it is a studio. We thought you should meet them before you call.

The story so far

How the studio happened.

“Turning moments into memories” — it said so on our very first card, and it is still the whole job.

Creative Spirits began in Nashik in 2014, at the meeting point of two very different careers — an interior designer who understood what a space can make people feel, and a teacher-turned-businesswoman who understood people. Family occasions came first. Then friends' occasions. Then the phone simply never stopped.

Twelve years on, the studio designs complete celebrations — weddings and engagements, birthdays and baby showers, festive décor that dresses the city for Ganpati, Diwali and Christmas, and corporate events that carry a company's name with grace. One in five of our events wears a company's name; every single one is built the same way — from a blank page, for the people in the room.

The studio is rooted in Nashik. The work goes wherever you're celebrating.

The founders

Two spirits, one studio.

Mosam Majithia, co-founder of Creative Spirits

Co-founder — the designer's eye

Mosam Majithia

Mosam was already taking on projects in her second year of design school — and bought her first car at 21 on the strength of them. Marriage brought her from Mumbai to Nashik, and interior design came along. When her son was born she paused; when she returned — nudged by a husband who wouldn't let the talent sit idle — it was to a bigger canvas. Not rooms anymore, but occasions. The craft carried over whole: proportion, light, and what a space does to the people standing inside it. Since then, in her own words, there has been no looking back.

I love this work from the heart — and enjoy every bit of it.

Dipali Kanani, co-founder of Creative Spirits

Co-founder — the gathering force

Dipali Kanani

Dipali began as a kindergarten teacher — which, she will point out, is exactly the right training for event management — and grew into a business developer good enough to be bored by it. The Piscean in her wanted to build things people could feel, not decks people could file. So she did. She is the host who knows every guest by name before dinner, the negotiator vendors never see coming, and the reason clients feel held from the first call to the last light.

Ice on the head, sugar in the mouth, feet on the ground — and an eye on the sky.

In good company

Stages we've been trusted with.

Bank of Maharashtra · Bank of Baroda

When the Prime Minister was on the programme

Two national banking events carried the Prime Minister live — an address to the nation's depositors, and a video conference with the PMO — staged, streamed and run without a single stumble.

ICMR

India's first BSL-3 mobile lab, unveiled

When the country's first Biosafety Level-3 mobile laboratory was introduced to the world, ICMR trusted us with the room it happened in.

Rotary RID 3030

A district's grandest stage

The Rotary District Conference 2023–24 — and the installation ceremony of the district's first woman Governor — both carried our design.

A letter we kept.

December 2019. A family's wedding week ended — and a few days later, this arrived. Handwritten.

December 7, 2019

Dear Dipali and Mosam,

We are grateful to you for being there to support and guide us right through our family wedding arrangements.

Your creativity was thoroughly appreciated. The families of the bride and the groom were in total awe looking at all the arrangements — every event carried out on the timeline without any delay, the creativity in design and décor, and the emotional support provided by you to execute a big event without any hassles.

It goes without saying that the next event in our family shall surely happen under your aegis. Wishing you the very best in all your endeavours.
